Has The Transformation Happened Yet?

I started this painting in Libra season (2021) and finished a few weeks later in Scorpio season. I took my time. I remember being in my flow, yet stopping when I felt the self-doubt or tiredness creep up. “How perfect”, I said to myself as I realized the timing of everything. I always think of Scorpio Season as death & rebirth. Reflecting back on things, the process wasn’t always in the timing I wanted it to be, but it was always something I needed.

The bird in the painting is a phoenix, which symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and resurrection. Its often used to represent hope, transitions, and the possibility of a fresh start. As I get older, and more self aware, I realized that transformation starts from within. Many times what’s going on inside of me doesn’t get recognized until I’m thick in a situation, and/or something shocking “wakes me up” to reveal more details. It’s not always the best feeling, but I’ve found that understanding what you can and cannot control, will help you in the long run, especially your anxiety!

What are some things changing within you’ve discovered during this scorpio season? What is something you’re dreaming about but feel like you have no control of?

The heart goes through so much when it comes to love. Love encompasses all. I would rather to have loved once, than never loved at all.

So I open my self to love once more. Dreaming big to realize, self love is what I need to move through this door. Say no more. I've died and lived again and again, trusting my own allure.
